What we do

Data Terminators specialises in the physical destruction of computer hard disc drives (and data tapes)  at the customer's premises. We arrive on-site in a specially fitted-out van with onboard shredder. The customer hands us the storage media they want destroyed and we shred this media  into small pieces. Its that simple. The process can be witnessed from start to finish.

Data Terminators is a trading subsidiary of Computer Resale (Cambridge) Ltd who have ten years experience in recycling ex corporate computers back into the market place in the UK. During this period we have frequently been asked what is the most secure method of deleting sensitive data stored on a computer hard drive? The short answer is to destroy the hard drive. To make this process even more secure, the hard drive should not be shipped away from where it is stored. The custodian of the data should be able to witness the hard drive being moved to a destruction point located on (or next to) the custodian's premises and witness the drive being destroyed.
